Overview

At OGCS Global, we consult for clients in delivering their complex infrastructure developments. We are looking for specialists to help support our clients with large-scale data center capital programs.

Candidates are invited to apply for the Contracts and Procurement Manager role, based in Denver, CO, to join our team.

This is a strategic leadership position responsible for designing and leading the contracting and procurement function that underpins complex capital development programs. You will shape enterprise-level strategy, build and mentor a high-caliber team, and partner with executive leadership to ensure projects are commercially sound, risk-aware, and execution-ready.

What’s the Opportunity?

As the Contracts & Procurement Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in driving governance, oversight, and performance excellence across large-scale data center capital programs. You will need to be experienced in and able to design, implement, and manage the full lifecycle of contracts and procurement processes to ensure successful project delivery in a high growth organization. This role requires an experienced strategic thinker with strong problem‑solving abilities who can work across engineering, construction, legal, operations, and commercial teams to deliver best‑in‑class results.

In this role, you will establish standardized processes, tools, and templates for all phases of the procurement cycle. You will shape and execute both project-level and enterprise-wide contracts and procurement strategies, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and industry best practices.

You will also build and lead a high-performing Contracts & Procurement organization, guiding teams through pre award and post award activities. Acting as the Client’s representative, you will ensure EPC contractors, suppliers, and strategic partners meet all contractual obligations and deliverables. Your leadership will be essential in maintaining compliance, mitigating risk, enabling vendor performance, and supporting the successful execution of complex capital projects.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership

You’ll build, mentor, and scale a team of contract and procurement professionals capable of supporting projects at every stage of development.

You’ll work directly with client stakeholders and partner closely with development, legal, finance, operations, and commissioning teams — ensuring commercial strategy is fully aligned with operational readiness and business objectives.

As the organization grows, you’ll design the processes, training, and governance frameworks that allow the function to scale intelligently.

Shape Enterprise Contracting & Procurement Strategy

You’ll help define how the company approaches the market. From enterprise-level sourcing models to project-specific award strategies, you’ll establish negotiation frameworks and commercial structures that protect value and drive performance.

You’ll assess supply chain risk, contractor capability, and market conditions to optimize procurement strategies across EPC, equipment, and critical services.

You’ll also implement standardized tools, workflows, and governance structures that create consistency across multiple development programs, while building long-term category and vendor strategies.

Lead Major Capital Procurement

You’ll own the full lifecycle of procurement for major capital packages from RFP development and bid evaluation through negotiation and contract formation. Alongside engineering, construction, finance, and legal teams, you’ll ensure scopes are clearly defined, risks are understood, and contracts are commercially robust.

Drive Commercial Discipline and Cost Visibility

You’ll bring financial clarity to complex projects. That means managing budgets, validating contractor applications, tracking commitments across multiple work packages, and identifying cost trends early.

You’ll provide accurate forecasting, analyze variances, and recommend cost-saving strategies, without compromising quality, schedule, or strategic intent.

Strengthen Vendor and Supply Chain Performance

You’ll build strong, long-term relationships with EPC firms, OEMs, subcontractors, and service providers. You’ll drive accountability and continuous improvement across the supply chain through KPIs, audits, and structured reviews.

You’ll identify opportunities to leverage economies of scale and cross-project synergies to secure strategic pricing and commercial terms that enhance overall profitability.

Navigate Complexity and Mitigate Risk

You’ll proactively identify contracting and supply chain risks (including escalation exposure, lead-time constraints, and scope gaps) and develop mitigation strategies before they impact delivery.

You’ll provide data-driven, forward-thinking recommendations to senior leadership, support scenario planning and financial modeling, and solve complex commercial challenges that require both technical understanding and commercial judgement.

What You Will Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Construction Management, Business, or related field.

  • 10+ years of proven experience in contracts, procurement, or commercial management, ideally in data centers, industrial projects, or large‑scale infrastructure.

  • Strong understanding of EPC contracting models, construction supply chains, and large capital program delivery.

  • Proven ability to develop procurement strategies, negotiate complex contracts (high level proficiency in negotiating Terms and Conditions is a must), and manage high‑value vendor relationships.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

  • Ability to adapt to a dynamic and fast-paced multi project Data Center delivery environment and respond to changing project requirements.

Why Join Us?

This is an opportunity to work alongside some of the industry’s most experienced contracts and supply chain professionals. You’ll be part of a dynamic team where your expertise will directly impact major projects. We offer a collaborative environment with excellent benefits.
