OGCS Welcomes Jonathon Washington to Houston

OGCS is pleased to announce the appointment of Jonathon Washington to its Houston team, further strengthening the company’s commercial management and procurement expertise across major infrastructure and energy projects.

Originally from the UK, Jonathon is a Senior Commercial Professional with 14 years of experience leading teams and supporting complex infrastructure projects internationally. His career has encompassed major procurement and commercial programs, including billion-dollar and billion-pound projects, giving him extensive experience managing the commercial challenges associated with large-scale capital investment.

Jonathon’s expertise spans sourcing strategy, cost planning and commercial management, together with contract administration and procurement. He has particular experience with NEC4, ICC and JCT contract practices and brings a strong understanding of the commercial processes required to support projects from development through delivery.

Having recently relocated to Houston, Jonathon is working with OGCS in support of a major gas, renewables and refinery project. His role combines commercial leadership with hands-on project support, working alongside clients and project teams to manage procurement, contracts and commercial performance.

“Jonathon brings a strong combination of international experience, commercial expertise and leadership to our consultancy at OGCS,” said Ernesto Munoz, Commercial Director at OGCS. “His experience on major infrastructure and energy programs is highly valued by our clients. Throw in his ability to lead teams and navigate complex commercial environments and it’s easy to see why we were keen to bring him in.”

Jonathon’s appointment reflects OGCS’s continued investment in experienced commercial professionals who can provide practical, project-focused support to clients operating across increasingly complex energy and infrastructure environments.

Based in Houston, Jonathon is part of OGCS’s expanding Americas team, bringing an international perspective and extensive infrastructure experience to the company’s growing portfolio of energy and natural resources projects.
