As we expand our footprint in key regions across the continent, we are seeking a driven and well-connected Senior Recruitment Consultant to grow and manage our networks.
Role Overview
As our Senior Recruitment Consultant, you'll take ownership of resourcing across North America with a particular focus on upstream, midstream, and downstream oil and gas and mining projects across the U.S., Canada and Mexico.
You’ll be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and placing experienced professionals into technical, commercial, and project leadership roles.
This is a hands-on role where your deep industry networks and proactive sourcing strategies will directly impact our growth and client success.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain strong pipelines of project professionals across project controls, contracts & procurement, construction management, and related disciplines in North America.
Engage directly with our client companies to understand their resourcing needs.
Lead end-to-end recruitment processes: market mapping, candidate sourcing, interviewing, compensation negotiations, compliance checks, onboarding, and post-placement support.
Use LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and your personal network to proactively attract high-quality candidates.
Maintain and grow relationships with project professionals to ensure a strong bench of ready-to-deploy talent.
Support client account managers in negotiating and closing contractor resourcing assignments.
Track activity using recruitment CRM and reporting tools (Bullhorn, HubSpot etc).
Key Requirements
What You Bring:
Minimum 5 years' recruitment experience for project professionals namely support in-house consultancy or parts or all of client-based teams seconded into major projects., ideally in a fast-paced manpower services supplier or internal staff/consultant resourcing role.
Deep personal network of contract professionals in the oil and gas, petrochemical or mining sector across North America.
Strong understanding of major capital projects in the industries we service for our core positions.
Proven ability to manage multiple searches and deliver results quickly.
Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently.
Comfortable working in a small team where hands-on delivery is key.
Preferred Experience:
Experience sourcing for project controls, construction management, contracts/procurement, or field engineering roles.
Familiarity with contractor compliance requirements in the US (W2, 1099, corp-to-corp).
Previous work relationships with oil and gas, petrochemical clients in North America.
