Overview
At OGCS Global, our project controls experts have supported some of the world’s most complex energy and infrastructure developments. We specialize in providing insight and structure to major capital projects, ensuring delivery against some of the toughest schedules in the industry.
With several landmark projects now underway across the Middle East, we are seeking to add Senior Planner / Schedulers to our team.
The Role
This is a high-impact role at the heart of project execution. As a Senior Planner, you will be responsible for developing and managing integrated project schedules that drive decision-making across the full EPC lifecycle.
From early strategy through commissioning, you will ensure that planning and controls provide clarity, identify risks, and support on-time, on-budget delivery of billion-dollar programs.
You will:
Develop, maintain, and report on Level 1–5 project schedules using Primavera P6, covering all project phases.
Integrate EPC contractor schedules into an Owner Master Schedule that reflects total project commitments and milestones.
Conduct schedule risk assessments using tools such as Acumen Risk and Monte Carlo simulation.
Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) and other progress measurement systems to track performance and drive accountability.
Produce clear, executive-ready reports and dashboards for senior leadership and project stakeholders.
Mentor junior planners and guide subcontractor scheduling teams to maintain quality and consistency.
Collaborate closely with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning functions to maintain alignment on schedule drivers and critical paths.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking someone who not only understands schedules, but how schedules influence the success of world-class projects.
You’ll bring:
10+ years of planning and scheduling experience on large-scale capital projects.
Proven track record on $1B+ LNG, petrochemical, oil & gas, or major infrastructure projects (experience in the Middle East preferred).
Expertise in building and managing detailed schedules in Primavera P6.
Strong knowledge of full EPC lifecycle scheduling and risk evaluation.
Proficiency in EVM principles and integration with project controls systems.
Excellent communication skills—confident in presenting to senior executives and engaging with multidisciplinary teams.
Long-term project commitment and stability in previous roles (>2 years per assignment preferred).
Flexibility to work at remote site locations and/or relocate as required.
