Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Planner / Scheduler with a proven track record in $1B+ LNG, petrochemical, or oil & gas mega-projects. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in Primavera P6 scheduling, schedule integration, earned value management, and risk analysis.
This position requires strong leadership, communication skills, and a commitment to delivering high-quality project controls within a dynamic and demanding project environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, maintain, and report on Level 1–5 project schedules using Primavera P6, covering the full lifecycle from planning through commissioning.
Integrate EPC contractor schedules into a comprehensive Owner Master Schedule.
Lead schedule risk assessments using tools such as Acumen Risk and Monte Carlo simulation.
Support progress tracking and performance analysis using Earned Value Management (EVM) and Progress Measurement Systems (PMS).
Produce executive-level dashboards and schedule reports tailored for senior leadership and project stakeholders.
Lead and mentor junior planners and subcontractor scheduling teams.
Coordinate closely with Project Management, Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning teams.
Ensure alignment of planning and controls with project objectives, milestones, and critical path analysis.
Required Experience & Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have a mix of technical, safety, and field coordination experience.
Minimum 10 years of planning/scheduling experience on large capital projects.
Direct involvement in major LNG projects (e.g., Sabine Pass, Gorgon LNG, QatarGas, or equivalent).
Demonstrated ability to build and manage detailed schedules in Primavera P6.
Experience with full EPC lifecycle scheduling and risk evaluation processes.
Strong understanding of EVM principles and integration with progress tracking systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to present confidently to executives and multidisciplinary teams.
History of long-term project engagement (>2 years per assignment preferred).
Willingness to work at a remote site location and/or relocate as required.
Additional Requirements:

Positive references from at least two senior project staff.
Clearly demonstrated passion and interest in contributing to a high-profile LNG mega-project.
