Adding Spice at the OGCS Crawfish Boil in Houston
OGCS’s annual Crawfish Boil returned to Karbach Brewery, drawing a vibrant crowd of contractors, clients, colleagues, and members of the wider industry community.
The 2026 OGCS Crawfish Boil once again brought together clients, colleagues, partners, and friends for an evening focused on strengthening relationships and celebrating another very successful year for the business. With the rain holding off, refreshing local brews and the finest cajun flavors, the event was a great success. It was an excellent opportunity to reconnect with established contacts while welcoming a number of new industry connections brought along by our invited guests and latest team members – Jeff Cooney and Ernesto Munoz.
“The continued growth of the event reflects the momentum OGCS has built over the past year.” said Ed Comiskey, Executive Vice President OGCS Americas Inc. “Beyond the food and atmosphere, the evening was about reinforcing trust, strengthening our partnerships, and supporting the industries we work in.”
Throughout the event, guests enjoyed a generous spread of crawfish, shrimp and Southern spices alongside the relaxed atmosphere that personifies the OGCS approach which is all about real connections and genuine conversations. The ever-popular raffle was a highlight, adding a light-hearted element of friendly competition between attendees.
The event was truly international this year, with the Group CFO Robert McIntosh visiting from the UK. As Rob tucked into a seafood feast, he had time to chat to some of the OGCS Americas clients, partners, and industry peers. “It’s always a great visit when I come to Houston,” Rob notes, “the people are so welcoming, and I’m always impressed by the energy here.”
Conversations throughout the evening reflected the continued expansion of OGCS over the past year, with record growth in 2025 across every sector. OGCS is committed to further scaling throughout 2026. The focus on consulting support in our main service lines is steadfast, even as OGCS’ specialist manpower provision grows for another year, and extends into turnaround / maintenance sectors.
Ed Comiskey, Executive Vice President remarked “the evening reflects those foundational elements that drive OGCS forward: trusted relationships, practical problem-solving, and delivering measurable value for clients, colleagues and our community.”
As OGCS continues to expand its capabilities and client relationships, events such as the Crawfish Boil remain an important part of maintaining the strong professional connections across the industry that underpin our track record of successful service delivery.
