Darryl leads OGCS’s Planning & Risk team. He has over 30 years of global Project experience mostly in the Oil and Gas Sector. As a Project Management Professional (PMP) he entered the industry in 1990 as a Pipe Designer in Houston. Transferring to Alaska, he expanded his knowledge in Engineering, both as a designer, a discipline engineer, also as a Facility Engineer on the North Slope. During that period, he transitioned to Project Controls developing and maintaining Project Schedules both for clients and contractors.
Darryl’s experience on both the Operator and EPC sides have enabled him to understand many of the current pitfalls with quality lacking Schedules. Darryl and the OGCS Planning and Risk consultants project team experiences carry that understanding into identifying issues and providing quality feedback on existing schedules. Overall goal would be to incorporate that knowledge and experience into the Review and the Risk Functions of the project schedule.
Darryl’s goals are : collaboration and client satisfaction, whether that is for producing a quality Project Schedule, capturing the issues with an EPC/Owner schedule or by utilizing the Risk assessment process to establish a risk adjusted achievable schedule, reflecting OGCS’s commitment to delivering excellence.
